This chapter talks about the religious Babylon that is an exposition of Revelation 14:8. In Revelation 14:8 we read, "And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. "
      Revelation 18:6 says  "And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."  
      From 1209 AD thru 1953 AD there were approximately 50 million people killed by the Catholic Inquisitions and Crusades as stated below and many were the saints of Jesus Christ. The Catholic church has a bloody history against the saints of Jesus Christ.

1209 - The Albigensian Crusades in southern France. Roman Catholic crusaders slaughter approximately 20,000 citizens of Beziers, France on July 22, 1209. Both Albigensian Christians and Catholics were slain. 
1236 - Roman Catholic crusaders slaughter Jews in the Anjou and Poitou regions of western France in a severe wave of persecution. 
1481 - At the direction of the Roman Catholic inquisitors, authorities torture, burn and slaughter tens, even hundreds of thousands of people during the Spanish Inquisition.
1540 - 1570 - Roman Catholic armies butcher at least 900,000 Waldensian Christians of all ages during this 30-year period.
1553 - 1558 - Roman Catholic Queen Mary I of England (aka bloody Mary) attempts to bring England back under the yoke of papal tyranny. During her reign, nearly 300 men and woman are burned to death at the sake. Her victims include bishops, scholars, and other Protestant leaders.
 1572 - St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre. French Roman Catholic soldiers begin killing Protestants in Paris on the night of August 24, 1572. The soldiers kill at least 10,000 Protestants during the first three days. At least 8000 more Protestants are killed as the slaughter spreads to the countryside.
1618 - 1648 - The Thirty Years War. This bloody, religious war is planned, instigated, and orchestrated by the Roman Catholic Jesuit order and its agents in an attempt to exterminate all the Protestants in Europe. Many countries in central Europe lose up to half their population.
1641 - 1649 - Eight years of Jesuit-instigated Roman Catholic butchery of Irish Protestants claims the lives of hundreds of thousands of Protestants.
1685 - French Roman Catholic soldiers slaughter approximately 500,000 French Protestant Huguenots on the orders of Roman Catholic King Louis 14 of France.
1941 - 1945 - The Roman Catholic Ustashi in Yugoslavia butchered Hundreds of thousands of Yugoslav citizens, Serbs, Jews and Roma. And Hundreds of thousands were forced to convert to Catholicism.
1949 - 1953 - With the support from the Columbian government, the Roman Catholic Church had 60,000 Protestants and non-Catholics shot, drowned and emasculated. Pope Pius XII awarded the Columbian President with one of the highest awards the church can give.


      In verse 9 it says "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 
      This is a tremendous text. It locates, geographically, the final world power block and headquarters for the world church as well. Historically speaking, Rome is the only city situated on seven hills. The names of her seven peaks are (1) Aventine, (2) Caelian, (3) Capitoline, (4) Esquiline, (5) Palatine, (6) Quirinal, (7) Viminal. There is no disputing this fact. The world church, sitting on these seven hills, heading up scores of denominations, rides to power on the back of the ten-horned Western federation of nations. 
       In September 2015 Pope Francis, the first Jesuit Pope that also spoke at the UN, is taking on a more political role for a Pope. 
      In verse 18 which reads, "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth." We also see in this verse that the power in Rome reigns over the kings of the earth.
      When you see the Pope with world leaders some will bow and kiss his ring in reverence to his power. The Pope will usually be wearing white which show how he is the most powerful. This started with Pope Innocent V and he was of the religious order of St. Dominic, who wore a white habit. The Popes after him began to wear more white attire daily and later took on a more powerful significance within the church and world leaders. 
      Pope Francis is constantly working to bring more denominations and religious groups into the Catholic fold. He has been meeting with religious leaders around the world and even opening up to Muslims. 
      Pope Frances has all of the markings of possibly being the False Prophet because of much of what he is saying and how he is changing the Catholic church in a bad way. Only time will tell for sure but we are closing in on the Rapture and Tribulation period fast and this is just another sign of the end times.

    Revelation 17
​Revelation was written by the apostle John during his exile on the island of Patmos. Most scholars believe the book was written around A.D. 90-95

1.  And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2. With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 
4. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5. And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 
8. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 
10. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 
12. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 
13. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. 
15. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 
16. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
